Jamahal Hill drew radio silence from his haters after offering $20,000 to back up their words with actions following a knockout loss to Alex Pereira.
Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jamahal Hill is on a revenge tour ahead of his return to the Octagon at UFC 311. Hill will face another former titleholder, Jiří Procházka, on the main card in a pivotal matchup in the light heavyweight title picture.
This is Hill's first fight since a knockout loss to Alex Pereira at UFC 300 last April. Immediately following the knockout defeat, online trolls swarmed Hill on his various platforms, leading to Hill issuing an open invitation to spar.
After offering $20,000 to anyone who wanted to spar with him at the UFC Performance Institute, Hill ended up paying no one after his trolls rejected the offer with deafening silence.

Jamahal Hill provides updates on the $20,000 sparring offer
On an ESPN MMA Instagram post summarizing Hill's open invitation, Hill informed fans and experts of his $20,000 proposal.
“7 months later and 1000 wolf tickets and not a single pull-up!!!” Hill commented.
Hill is in an exuberant mood ahead of his UFC 311 return. He nearly got into an all-out brawl with Pereira during a recent UFC PI run-in and is excited to get back into the win column in his upcoming fight.
Hill isn't the first former or current UFC star to openly invite his opponents to spar. Former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland, who returns to the Octagon next month at UFC 312, has spoken to numerous online trolls at Xtreme Couture.
Unfortunately, unlike Strickland, Hill hasn't been able to challenge his trolls personally, although the upside is that he saves $20,000.
Jamahal Hill is excited ahead of the return of UFC 311
Hill is looking to get back on track after losing to Pereira, in a main event booking he made on relatively short notice at UFC 300. Before the knockout loss, Hill won the then-vacant title by defeating Glover Teixeira at UFC 283.
An Achilles tendon injury forced Hill to vacate the title again in 2023, leading to Pereira winning the vacant belt from Prochazka at UFC 295. Pereira remains the UFC light heavyweight titleholder after making his case for Fighter of the Year ' in 2024.
At his best, Hill is one of the most dangerous strikers in the UFC today, as evidenced by the likes of Johnny Walker and Thiago Santos. He won four straight fights before Pereira lost.
Hill could potentially get a willing sparring partner ahead of UFC 311, but it seems unlikely that will happen anytime soon. In the meantime, Hill will have the opportunity to send a strong message to his opponents with a signature performance later this month.
