Former UFC-Light Heavyweight Champion Jamahal Hill bounced back from his first UFC loss with a wild first round finish.
After a serious arm injury against Paul Craig had contracted UFC 263, many did not know what they could expect from Jamahal Hill in his return in December 2021. But faithful to his 'Sweet Dreams' name, Hill kept one of the dirtiest finishes of his career at the UFC Apex.
Hill and Jimmy Crute could be seen in a crucial light heavyweight matchup at the UFC Apex, on a map with the head of UFC Hall of Famer Jose Aldo. Hill and Crute were the competition series of Dana White before they were booked against each other in the cage.

Hill and Cruter wasted little time to get into the Octagon afterwards. Crute had a number of strong moments early and landed an early chop that briefly wobbled Hill.
But Crute's main kick would eventually be his biggest moment in the fight, as Hill prevented in a great way. While Cruter went forward with a right hand, Hill ventured through Cruter's pressure and opposed a right hook that collapsed his opponent.

After completing Cruter, Hill explained the UFC Apex as 'Sweet Dreams Stadium' and expressed his love for competition in the Las Vegas facility. Hill's position was in stark contrast to many hunters who would compete against the Apex in favor of larger locations.
Hill was one of the many top names that flourished to staring thanks to their versions at the UFC Apex. In anticipation of his return to UFC Baku this Saturday, Hill wants to add at his peak Reel against another rival Alex Pereira.

Hill and Khalil Rountree Jr. Koppen this Saturday an intriguing map in Azerbaijan, who mark the first UFC event in the country. Both Hill and Rountree come from recent knockout losing to Pereira while they want to go back to the title mix.
After Magomed Ankalaev Pereira defeated UFC 313, the door of the light heavyweight title photo is open to Hill and Rountree to make a statement. Rountree returns for the first time since a late-round TKO loss against Pereira on UFC 307.
If the UFC CVs from Hill and Rountree are indicators of what we can expect this weekend, expect a wild firefight between two of the top candidates of the light heavyweight division.
