Jamahal Hill’s distraught backstage reaction to Jiri Prochazka KO caught on camera at UFC 311

Of all the losers at UFC 311, former UFC light heavyweight champion Jamahal Hill was one of the biggest.

After losing to Alex Pereira on a short booking at UFC 300, Hill was rewarded with a main card fight against division bogey Jiri Prochazka. “Sweet Dreams” brought his A-game, landing shots through the pipe and landing some crushing clinch knees, but it wasn't enough.

Just over halfway through the third round, Prochazka defeated Hill by technical knockout. 'BJP' hit Hill with an uppercut and tossed him to the ground before follow-up shots sealed the deal.

Behind-the-scenes footage shows Jamahal Hill dealing with the UFC 311 loss

In a video shared by ESPN, Hill is seen crouching on the ground, apparently moments after walking under the fan stands. He stands there for a while with his head hanging, then lets out an anguished cry and gets up. Prochazka's post-fight interview can be heard in the background, adding insult to injury.

The rest of the footage follows a dejected Hill walking to the back rooms.

UFC 311 was Jamahal Hill's toughest loss to date

The loss is highlighted by the fact that it was a three-round beatdown. Both of Hill's previous losses have asterisks. Firstly, he suffered an injury when he was caught attempting a submission by Paul Craig, and secondly, Hill believes the referee in his fight against 'Poatan' led to his knockout.

Now the loss is a tough pill for Prochazka to swallow. It is also Hill's first consecutive loss since becoming champion against Glover Teixeira at UFC 283. MMA has no mercy; Extreme lows can come right after the highest highs, and Hill is no different.
