James Rodriguez set to leave Vallecano as possible Messi link-up emerges

James Rodriguez will return to La Liga this summer, signing a one-year contract with Rayo Vallecano. However, his time at Vallecas has been rather insignificant so far, with only six appearances (and one start against Leganes) since arriving at Vallecas.

Due to this lack of fame, it is expected that he will aim to leave Rayo as soon as possible. His future has been the subject of much speculation in recent weeks, and according to reports in the United States (via ED), the 33-year-old Colombian playmaker is attracting interest from Inter Miami.

It is noted that Inter Miami has already started exploring the possibility of signing Rodriguez, who would likely be available at a lower cost due to his situation at Rayo. If a deal can be done, it would be quite remarkable to see the former Real Madrid star playing alongside the likes of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Sergio Busquets.
