James Tarkowski's wife has launched an avid defense of the Everton star after he had received 'disgusting' and mean death threats.
Tarkowski, 32, was the subject of controversy on Wednesday after a controversial tackle on Liverpool's Alexis Mac Allister during his sides 1-0 defeat in the Merseyside Derby on Wednesday.
The skipper of the Toffees went hard to free up a loose ball with a sliding tackle before his follow -up by Caught Argentina International Mac Allister High in the first half.
After a VAR review, Tarkowski only received a yellow card from referee Sam Barrott, in which the official considered it “reckless” but did not justify shipping.
PGMOL leaders later said that the mistake should have been assessed as serious false play and that Var Paul Tierney was wrong not to intervene and recommend an assessment for a red card at the Pitch -Ionitor.
However, the wife of the twice -covered Englishman, Samantha, has revealed that he was subjected to death threats.
In an X-rated wirade on her Instagram page, she said: “I didn't really say anything because we usually just laugh when we off but f ***.
“The level of abuse that my husband receives – wishing death on him, despicable comments about me, about us as a few, and about him as a person – is extremely disgusting.
“People forget that he is more than just a football player. He is a husband, a father, a brother, a friend and especially, the father of our two children.
“He goes outside and does his job and does it very much, but he is subject to so much hatred. For those who behave as if he deliberately hurts someone – do you mean that?!
“Football movements at speed, and tackles are decisions of a fraction of a second. No player goes out to injure someone and do you think a player would feel good if he did?
“But the pure s *** messages, the threats? That is intentional. That is up to you. Football is a sport, but the way in which some so -called 'fans' behave is shameful.
“The abuse, the threats – it's not a passion, it's pathetic. We are real people, and this goes much further than football.”
Tarkowski revealed that he apologized for Mac Allister for the tackle and said: “It is not a big challenge. I spoke to him and I apologized because it is not a great tackle.
“When the ball fell between us, I thought he would just come and I expected a large old-fashioned 50-50-Tackle, but he just took out the tackle and while I went into it, I followed him and caught him pretty high, so I apologized with him and he accepted it.
“Yes, not great of me.”
While he was at the end of a favorable decision for his challenge, he regretted VAR that did not intervene for an alleged offside against Luis Diaz before Diogo Jota scored the match winner.
Tarkowski claimed that the Colombian stood behind him in an offside position, forced him to take action when he was dumping for the ball, with his loose touch on the ball and saw it falling for Jota's goal.
He said, “I didn't know he was [Diaz] Was offside, so he let me let go for the ball. He has influenced my decision. For some reason, whatever that is, they decided to give them a goal that is bizarre. “
The former Burnley star and Samantha started to date in 2015 before they dropped the knot in 2023.
In the show she gave a very brutal response after she was asked what she likes to do with her husband.
In episode three of the show, the couple organizes a wedding party for friends and family.
Snuddling on the couch, they are asked: “What is your favorite thing to do together?”
Samantha answers by asking: “What time will this show go out?” Before Tarkowski adds: “Beyond the basin?”
The Fitness -influencer then calls “Shagging!” While the pair broke out.
She added: “Do you remember when we were younger and we used to be in bed and I had something like 'this is my favorite part of the day'?
“I just get to bed at the end of the day, only we two. And then shagg. But I really like it …”
Later in the episode, Samantha admitted: “I got something there that evening!” While discussing Tarkowski that is made Everton Captain.
