Jamie Carragher’s brutal Man Utd dig after embarrassing Champions League error

Manchester United is not playing in the Champions League this season, but they still caught the anger of Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher during the second legs of this year's quarterfinals

Jamie Carragher brutally brutally hit Manchester United during the heartbreaking Champions League output of Aston Villa by PSG. Villa organized the French champions on Tuesday evening in the second stage of their quarterfinals of the Champions League.

Marcus Rashford joined the Midlands side on loan from United during the January transfer window and started in Villa Park. The international of England was surprisingly picked in the only central pointed role prior to Ollie Watkins.

The side of Unai Emery entered the game with 3-1 on aggregated after the first stage of last week in the Parc des Princes. Their attempts to get a comeback came to a bad start when the Europa League theme was accidentally played when the players came out of the tunnel.

The embarrassing confusion led to confusion among PSG players, with the French side played in the Europa League for the last time in 2012. The Champions League theme was finally played when the players got into their position.

However, Rashford is well known with the Junior Competition of European Football. During his time at United he regularly played in the Europa League, with United with six seasons in the tournament since 2015.

This led to Carragher made an excavation with the attacker and in turn United's recent experiences with European football. While the Europa League theme was played, he told CBS: “Marcus Rashford it seems good. He is used to it.”

The night did not start well for Rashford, because within 11 minutes he made an important mistake in the construction of the goal of Achraf Hakimi. It was a mistake that led him to be selected by Alan Shearer.

“It was not a bad touch of Marcus Rashford. It was not. Only on the edge of the 18 -Yard box. I could see what he was trying to do. He tried to cut and bend it on that right foot,” said Shearer in commentary on Amazon Prime.

“But it was a bad touch with which Marquinhos could get the tackle. As soon as they won the ball, their first thought was 'ahead'. Villa was so open at the back, especially to the left of their right side.”

Rashford did restore to attract attention when Villa suffered a complicated defeat after he had fought back to make the 5-4. This led the attacker to be praised by United Legend Wayne Rooney.

“This is what I said before Aston Villa who needs Champions League to attract top players. And Marcus Rashford finds it clear that he has a better chance of performing better and win trophies with Aston Villa,” Rooney told Prime.

“That is a great concern for Manchester United, but for Aston Villa that is a positive sign. From the point of view of Marcus Rashford I really want to see him as he was tonight, who show all his qualities.”
