Jean Silva believes brutal loss Bryce Mitchell suffered ‘really messed up his brain’ and that he’ll retire him at UFC 314

Jean Silva hopes to continue his extremely impressive run in the UFC this Saturday when he compiles Bryce Mitchell on UFC 314.

Since he appeared in 2023 in 2023 in the Contender Series of Dana White, Jean Silva immediately won the UFC fan base with his exciting fighting style and eccentric personality.

The Brazilian then started his impressive run in the promotion and finished all four of his first four opponents and earned him a fight against the ranked 13 featherweight, Bryce Mitchell.

In anticipation of their fight on UFC 314 this Saturday, Mitchell and Silva were involved in a large feud after Silva continuously barked to him during their press conference from before the fight.

Fans then started to feel worried after Mitchell claimed that Silva cursed him while barking at him and claimed that he had sleepless nights and was visited by demons during his sleep.

Despite 'Thugnasty's' claims ', Lord believes' Silva that the reason for Mitchell's bizarre ways of thinking was caused by his terrifying knockout loss for Josh Emmett, in which he remained over the canvas.

“Everything went well (in his career) until he was eliminated by Josh Emmett and I think that really ruined his brain and his emotions and everything just went wrong, you can see that he didn't look at it if he looked at it earlier,” Silva explained during the UFC 314 -Mediadag.

“You can see that it really confused him, so the fighting is going, he's going to try to get me down, I'm going to defend it and I'm going to throw some shots on his head. I can switch him off in the first or the second, we will see.

“But maybe he should retire after this because he will get some brain damage after this,” Silva continued.

UFC 314 is not only a big event for Silva, but it is also a big fight for the future of the 145LB division, as Alexander Volkanovski takes on Diego Lopes for the empty title.

Although Movsar Evloev is probably the following in line to fight for the title, a victory for the Fighting Nerd in Miami would probably place him near the top 10 of the division, which calls for new contenders.

With an extremely impressive victory, the shares of the Brazilian competition would rise even further and it would put him in position to fight a new big name on the way to what an approaching shot seems to be gold.
