A favorite at fans is back to the Octagon after the UFC has shocked that Jeremy Stephens has again signed with the promotion.
The 38-year-old broke up with the promotion in 2021 after he had fought elsewhere, because Stephens recently produced a statement victory over Eddie Alvarez in BKFC.
While his time ended in the UFC after a heavy form of shape, the crowd in the Moines will know exactly what he can expect from the birthplace hunter on 3 May.
After Stephens had produced a characteristic knockout against Doo Ho Choi in 2018, he succeeded it with his last victory in the Octagon who eventually became one of his best performance.

With back-to-back victories and fight of the night bonuses, Jeremy Stephens came into the main event of UFC at Fox 28 in Orlando with the #8 ranking order next to his name.
'Lil Heathen' would take on one of the most dangerous featherweights in the world when he collided with the #4-ranked Josh Emmett who had Ricardo Lamas in his earlier fight to shot the ranking.
The two men with dynamite in their hands threw until the second round, Stephens dropped his husband with a large left corner.
When he followed Emmett on the ground, he unleashed some of the largest “hellbows” that you will probably see, along with one controversial knee -strike.
Stephens was given the interruption and dropped a third consecutive bonus after handing out Emmett's only knockout loss to this day.
'Lil Heathen' went against featherweight icon Jose Aldo in his next outing that he lost through a body shot in the first round, giving his impressive versions to an end.

After beating Josh Emmett in February 2018, Jeremy Stephens went without a victory in his next six fights (including a NO match) before he left the UFC in 2021.
He then signed at the PFL where he went 1-2 with losses for Clay Collard and Natan Schulte before trying in boxing where he was confronted in a rematch opposite Aldo before compiling a three-field line in BKFC.
His return opponent on 3 May will be Wales' Mason Jones who was also signed at the UFC after having fought his contract in 2022 and achieving four victories in Cage Warriors.
It is certainly surprising to see Stephens in the UFC at this stage in his career, but at least this matchup should ensure a great fight.
