
UFC veteran Jim Miller is facing Chase Hooper this Saturday at the UFC 314 Prelims.
Jim Miller has established countless UFC records during his legendary career, but he also bragging the tapping on one of the greatest Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu artists from Combat Sports.
Miller will be confronted this Saturday in Miami with another grab, Chase Hooper, on the UFC 314 Prelims. He returns to the Octagon after a first round finish of Damon Jackson on UFC 309 in November, and has won three of his last four fights in general.
Miller fought a whole series of UFC legends during his fighting career, including people like Gray Maynard, Joe Lauzon and Donald Cerrone. While Miller raised the lightweight ranking in his UFC official period earlier, he stood opposite one of the biggest current names of the sport, Charles Oliveira, on UFC 124.

Miller and Oliveira helped when kicking on UFC 124 on a map with the head of the rematch of Welterweight title between Georges St-Pierre and Josh Koscheck. After two impressive victories to start his UFC official period, Oliveira was seen as the next big thing in the lightweight division, until Miller gave him his first career defeat.
During a wild scrambling in the octhoek between Miller and Oliveira in the first seconds, Oliveira struggled to check Miller on the ground, to the surprise of many fans and experts. Miller surprised the crowd of Montreal by catching Oliveira in a Kneebar entrance and forcing the BJJ -Aas to tap quickly for his first career loss.
The victory not only assured Miller a 'submission of the night' implementing bonus after the fight, but also stold as a top title candidate in the lightweight division. After he eliminated Kamal Shalorus in his next fight on UFC 128, Miller stood opposite Benson Henderson in a no. 1 candidate fight and lost a unanimous decision later that year.
After having had a heartache in their first fight, Oliveira would take revenge in 2018 against Miller and Miller with a second -noded choke in Milwaukee. 15 years after Miller Oliveira had submitted, both hunters still compete in the lightweight division and Oliveira is now one of the faces of the UFC.
Charles Oliveira may welcome lightweight newcomer for the next fight
Oliveira knocks on the door of another potential title shot after beating Michael Chandler on UFC 309 in November. During the recent UFC Vegas 105 broadcast, the promotion accidentally leaked the next potential battle of Oliveira against the current featherweight title holder Ilia Topuria.
At the moment nothing has been announced with regard to the following fights from Topuria and Oliveira. The two have exchanged hooks on social media in recent weeks, with Topuria all the lightweight king about the current champion Islam Makhachev.
Miller is probably in the last days of his fighting career while teasing with retired after reaching a new milestone. But a victory over Hooper could possibly force Miller to reconsider his pension time line.
The career of Miller and Oliveira will be linked forever after their two fights earlier in their UFC official period. But for Miller he will always say that he tapped the leader of the UFC's of all time, as long as Oliveira has that distinction.
