Joan Laporta meeting unlocked Marc-Andre ter Stegen chaos amid La Liga update

Barcelona and Marc-Andre Ter Stegen have reached a compromise over their current row in his lespiraciness.

The Saga in which the two parties were involved received an important update on Friday and when the resolution was reached, so that Barcelona could get ahead.

Barcelona previously confirmed that they had opened the disciplinary procedure against Ter Stegen as a result of the fact that he refused to sign the medical document that the club intended to proceed to La Liga with regard to his operating time.

On the back of that he was also stripped of the captain, while the club opened a war with their number 1.

Barcelona tries to use 80% of Ter Stegen's salary space to register Joan Garcia, with their conviction the 33-year-old will be out of operation for more than four months, and after initially refusing has admitted Ter Stegen since then.

Barcelona has since confirmed that Ter Stegen has now signed the documentation of him, with a disciplinary procedure and he has been reappointed as a club captain.

According to the last of Mundo Deportivo, La Liga expects to have an update about how many of the salary space of Ter Stegen they can use before 12-13 August, and Barcelona may also register Marcus Rashford.

The row has dominated the headlines in Catalonia, in which MD also stated that an important meeting with club president Joan Laporta changed the thoughts of Ter Stegen after he had visited German's house.

Laporta wanted to 'end the war' with his keeper and that could only be protected by face to face with him.

Ter Stegen the gesture appreciated and it played a key role in his posture change, provided that he would be restored as a captain.

Barcelona is expected to take into account a sale in January for their re -appointed leader, now the first choice with Garcia, but that could revive the controversy at the beginning of 2026.
