UFC Middleweight Star Joe Pyfer stated that he was the best he has ever been physical, just a few hours before he withdrew from UFC Mexico City.
UFC Mexico City has many top names, but it took a big hit when it was announced that the middleweight fight between Joe Pyfer and Kelvin Gastelum was only a few hours before the event.
Pyfer, who entered UFC Mexico City, confronted with demonstrably the most difficult test of his career against Gastelum, withdrew a few hours before his fight from the event due to an attack of food poisoning. The UFC broadcasting team, including Jon Anik, revealed that Pyfer had told them about a disease he had recovered earlier in the week, which had been restored after Friday's weighting.
Coincidentally, Pyfer ESPN's Megan Olivi told you only a few hours before UFC Mexico City that he felt the best that he had ever been physical, despite the unfortunate events that would come.

Joe Pyfer proclaims that he “healthiest he ever was” just a few hours before he pulled out
Pyfer went out of UFC Mexico City with a lot of speed and came from a brutal knockout victory over Marc-Andre Barriault on UFC 303 last June. Only a few weeks after the fight, Pyfer underwent several operations on his back that hinded his training last year.
Although it was successfully made the health of 100 percent on the Vechtweek, Pyfer and his team were forced to take a nightmare decision after weighing.
During a recent interview with Olivi after the ceremonial weighting of the UFC Mexico City, Pyfer spoke about the mountains that he physically overcome to fight the night.
“I am able to struggle and use my Jiu-Jitsu game much more … I got two operations after my last fight on my back. So my biggest mistake is that I hit injuries in my own way, and that is crazy, but I will say that I have been the healthiest I have been fought,” Pyferi said.
In retrospect, Vecht fans had a lot to say about Pyfer's comments.
“This outdated poorly, wrote a fan on X.
“WTF,” said another.
“This was not good …”
“Is this a joke?”
“Life comes to you quickly.”
“Bro's 100 percent faster than Bitcoin.”
“I think I'm the healthiest I have been since I was fighting.”

Joe Pyfer owns record -breaking pons power that surpasses Francis Ngannou
After his fight had been canceled, Pyfer fans, friends and family addressed on his social media accounts. He said that his 'heart was broken' that he could not fight Gastelum and explained that he was 'super sick' on Friday evening.
Despite the unfortunate career opposition in UFC Mexico City, Pyfer remains one of the brightest young stars of the middleweight division in 2025. Pyfer's biggest asset is his One-Punch Knock-out Power, which established a record on the UFC PI.
Just before his victory over Andre-Barriault, Pyfer threw a slap in one of the punching machines of the UFC, with a greater force than former UFC heavyweight title holder Francis Ngannou. The UFC Pi record from Pyfer has since been surpassed by former light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira.
Overcoming adversity is not something new for Pyfer, and he will try to make a statement in his next UFC booking. The matchmakers will probably be Pyfer vs. Book Gastelum again for a later date.
