Despite the fact that he has been confronted with criticism in recent months, Joe Rogan has claimed that the UFC is currently going through a great time.
Since the beginning of the year, the UFC has had to deal with various criticism from the fans for the way they have had to deal with situations, including some of the greatest hunters in sport.
UFC boss Dana White has constantly tried to reassure the fans that a heavyweight title fight between Jones and Tom Aspinall will happen '100%', despite the clear lack of interest from Jones.
And now even White has apparently given up that potential blockbuster, and states last Tuesday that they will continue 'quickly' of that fight in the coming weeks.

Joe Rogan defends the UFC after recent criticism
Another super fight that was there for making the promotion the ball fall, was a lightweight title fight between Islam Makhachev and Ilia Topuria, who had the inputs to be one of the greatest fights ever.
Not only that, but the promotion continues to receive weekly criticism for their continuous insufficient events in the UFC Apex because of their intense schedule.
And the APEX schedule does not show any signs of inlet, even though White claims that one of its biggest goals is for the UFC to keep an event at every possible location.
Despite the constant criticism that the promotion is confronted this year, UFC icon Joe Rogan believes that the sport is currently in an 'amazing' position with hunters such as Topuria and Makhacheve who are in charge.
“Ilia Topuria who fights against Charles Oliveira at the end of the month, that guy is insane, that guy has disabled two of the greatest featherweights of all time,” Rogan said in a recent episode of his podcast.
“He is just at a different level than everyone else … There are such guys, their level is above everyone's level and with Ilia it is all, they are his entries, his stairs, his punches, everything, he can do anything.
“You know, this is a great time for the sport, man. It's a crazy time because these guys who come in with one fight in the UFC, they immediately look like contenders of world class,” he continued.
Rogan Waxes Lyrical about Merab Dvalishvili after another dominant victory
Another criticism that the promotion received this year is that they do not have a star power in the UFC, especially with the era of Jones, Conor McGregor and others who are coming to an end.
The current UFC Bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili has taken his position as one of the biggest stars in sport at the moment, but even he still receives criticism of his struggling heavy fighting style.
Nevertheless, Rogan was nothing but free at the Georgian in his recent podcast.
“That guy is insane. Everyone who has been blown away in the sport for as long as I have been blew away. The man is a freak … he melts the biggest of the big ones.”
