Joe Rogan believes that the 'scariest MMA fighters' had a difficult childhood
On Wednesday, Rogan released the latest episode of his popular podcast, containing a guest performance by computer scientist and researcher in the field of artificial intelligence and robotics, Lex Fridman.
As he often does, the MMA icon started his favorite sport. Rogan raged about his theory about 'the scariest MMA fighters', who, according to him, were formed by an upbringing that has physical confrontation.
Whether it is a mistreated parent or a mean brother or sister, Rogan emphasizes that many of the truly scary MMA fighters he encountered had had a difficult time during their childhood.
“The scariest MMA fighters have older brothers they beat each other,” said Rogan.
“They are willing to throw down all the time … The boys I know and who are the damn chest, had people who beat them up when they were young.
“They just get used to going. They are just ready to go. They are not afraid to go, they want to go. They want to say all the time, “Let's go!” It is the only way to survive.
“It is better to be hard, otherwise you will not make it. There is no pillow to cry in. You have to fight with your brother, he is four years older than you, and he might be knocked out today. He beat and laughed at you unconsciously last week when you were on your back. “
Joe Rogan tells the sad story of Rousimar Palhares
Joe Rogan previously wondered about Rousimar Palhares, who might prove that his point is correct.
At the height of his career, the Brazilian Submission specialist was one of the most dreaded fighters on the UFC selection because of his enormous physique and the habit of holding on to leg locks for too long.
In 2013, Dana White was over his antics. Palhares was removed from the UFC due to 'unsporting behavior' when he held on to a heel hook in after his opponent, Mike Pierce, had tapped.
Rogan said about Palhares in 2019: “I think he came from a very bad childhood.
'He spoke extensively about how he grew up on a farm and how he had to eat a pork poop as a little boy. He had to close the cut he has on his chest. Crazy ***.
'I just think that if he is in the coempie, he just doesn't want to let it go. They ensure that he lets him go. He tried. Although he knew they would get angry with him if he didn't let go, he didn't let go completely.
“They had something like that:” Damn it here. ” They put it out of the UFC.
“The first man ever to be put out of the UFC because he had submissions.”
