Joe Rogan warned Jon Jones about the pursuit of a daring way of acting that more than ten years ago many eyebrows in the mixed martial artship.
Jones has largely achieved everything he wanted in the world of combat sports, starting with his crowning as a UFC Light Heavyweight Champion in 2011.
Even today, the resident of Rochester still has UFC Gold in his possession – although Jones' controversial regime as UFC Heavyweight Champ has been largely inactive and cloudy by a furious fan base who wants to see him fight against Tom Aspinall.
Until now, the combat success success of Jones has been completely reserved for the MMA rich. But that does not mean that 'bones' did not think about spreading his wings.
That was the case in 2013, when La Times reporter Lance Pugmire spoke with Jones and reported about his interest in challenging the most dominant heavyweight power of Boxing.
@JonnyBoes says that he is doing so well in boxing training, more than 500 rounds, he is encouraged to work on a future Klitschko match.

Joe Rogan said that Jon Jones was 'joked himself' with Klitschko Callout
At the time, Wladimir and Vitaly Klitschko were at the back of their decade of total dominance in boxing.
The Ukrainian brothers are both among the most successful Pugilists in history. The pair even came to the Guinness World Records book in 2011 as the brothers with the most global heavyweight title fight. Their count in that category stands for a remarkable 40 wins.
Despite the Freakish speed, strength and athletics of the couple, the inexperienced Jones seemed trusting what top boxers such as Shannon Briggs, Derek Chisora, Hasim Rahman and David Haye could not.
Among those to quickly laugh at that suggestion, Rogan was.
“No, no, no. I think someone who thinks they can box with one of the very best boxers who has ever seen the heavyweight division, without being a professional boxer for a long period, is kidding himself,” Rogan told TMZ.
“Or [they are] Only the type of person who is a real achievement who likes to set very, very high goals for himself and may have a milestone that he likes to set up there as a possible thing that he can have his ambitions do. But I don't think it's a good idea.
“Wladimir Klitschko has not lost for ten years and he is fighting all the best heavyweight boxers in the world,” Rogan added.
Jones was not the only UFC star who set their sights on the Ukrainian brothers. Junior Dos Santos also called the Klitschkos and claimed that he only needed four months to prepare to beat them.
Jon Jones turned the course on boxing storage
In the end it didn't take long before the Jones spoke for a long time about a boxing to go to bed.
A few months after the memorable victory of Jones over Alexander Gustafsson in their Hall of Fame struggle on UFC 165, the resident of Rochester appeared on stage for a Q&A for UFC 169.
When a fan questioned his comments about boxing against the Klitschkos, Jones gave a more realistic assessment of his chances.
“It was fun [to talk about]It was really fun. But no, I respect those guys so much, what they do is great, very high level things. I try not to be killed. I stay with mixed martial arts. “
So, did Jones joke or did comments like that of Rogan somewhat in him? We let you decide.
