For a long time UFC analyst Joe Rogan has a former title holder of all time.
Joe Rogan has seen the largest UFC turns, turns and stunning highlights during his time at the employment agency.
Rogan, an old fan and practitioner of mixed martial arts, is also a historian of knowledge when it comes to the greatest fighters ever appearing in the Octagon. He has seen the best and the worst of what MMA has to offer, including some of the most powerful strikers of the sport.
But for Rogan a man stands above the rest.

Joe Rogan says that Alex Pereira is getting harder than 'someone' in MMA and boxing history
Rogan had a chair in the front row to see some of the most bad knockouts in UFC history, in the hands of all-time juggernuts such as Francis Ngannou, Rampage Jackson and Sean O'Malley. Before Ngannou separated with the UFC in 2023, he treated fans on pure destruction in the Octagon.
Even Ngannou cannot compare with the power of a current UFC -Superster, in the opinion of Rogan.
During a recent episode of the Joe Rogan experience, Rogan explained the pure cruelty of former UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira.
“Alex Pereira is the scariest kickboker ever participated in the sport,” said Rogan about Pereira. “One man above everything that touches you once, you're dead … of all the guys I have ever seen, I don't think someone I can say that more than that guy. Including in kickboxing, in everything! He has more power than someone I have ever seen …
“Besides Francis Ngannou, but Francis Ngannou is 265 [pounds]But weight class up to weight class, Francis can also bring someone out, but he does not have the same skill level as 'Patan' … that guy is frightening, absolutely frightening. That power is of God; He has a strange gift that is simply different from anyone. “
Pereira earned 'Fighter of the Year' awards by gathering three Finishes in 2024, with all three victories in Pay-per-View main events. His TKO victory on Jiri Prochazka on UFC 303 came out of the map from weeks after the withdrawal of Conor McGregor.
Pereira's UFC Light Heavyweight Title Reign came to a screaming Halt by Magomed Ankalaev on UFC 313 last month due to a unanimous decision. Despite the abrupt end of his light heavyweight rule, Pereira will probably get a chance of championship glory later this year.
Magomed Ankalaev vs. Alex Pereira 2 is the fight to make with slightly heavyweight
Almost immediately after the Main Event of UFC 313, Pereira and Ankalaev Verbal agreed with a Rematch later in 2025, possibly in Chicago after the recent pests of Ankalaev. Since his promotion debut in March 2018, Ankalaev has not lost a fight since his promotion debut against Paul Craig and has an unbeaten line of 14 fights.
Before the loss for Ankalaev, Pereira was in line for possible superfights with people like Jones and Tom Aspinall. But while he is preparing to get the light heavyweight belt back, his heavyweight ambitions are on the shelf.
While Rogan Ngannou and other knockout artists are in elite, nobody is comparable to Pereira. He will be looking for a new high point in his return later this year.
