Joe Rogan highlighted one of former UFC champion Brock Lesnar's biggest rivals during a recent episode of his podcast.
Durability is an underrated attribute in modern Mixed Martial Arts. Heavyweights like Brock Lesnar, Francis Ngannou and Jon Jones have made a living by staying the course in the cage and surviving big hits.
The moment fighters lose their ability to have a big shot, even if it's just a small percentage, losses usually follow that decline. After a 5-1 start to his MMA career, Lesnar suffered consecutive TKO losses to Cain Velasquez and Alistair Overeem as his durability began to falter.
While fans and pundits continue to marvel at fighters' ability to withstand heavy damage, few have seen Joe Rogan demonstrate better durability than one of Lesnar's former foes.

Joe Rogan: Mark Hunt had 'one of the biggest chins' in the fight
During a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan highlighted Mark Hunt's durability and ability to make big shots throughout his career.
“Guys with bigger heads traditionally have a better chance,” Rogan said. “Guys like Mark Hunt… one of the greatest kickboxers of all time… [has a] take the size of this table. He was just Samoan, just a huge, fat guy. Born with one of the biggest chins in all of martial arts.
“There are certain faces that are easier to hurt. Arguments against it [too]there are guys with small jaws who take big punches. Max Holloway doesn't have a big, square jaw, but he can take a huge punch.
Lesnar originally defeated Hunt by unanimous decision at UFC 200 before the fight was overturned to a no-contest after Lesnar tested positive for a banned substance. Eight years after their UFC 200 clash, Hunt is still accusing the UFC of deliberately covering up Lesnar's pre-fight drug use.
Hunt defeated former boxer Sonny Bill Williams at the age of 48 to earn his first professional boxing victory in 2022. He defeated the likes of Frank Mir, Derrick Lewis and Roy Nelson during his UFC tenure.
Joe Rogan floored by Mark Hunt's legendary chin
Before debuting in the UFC Octagon in 2010, Hunt made a name for himself in professional kickboxing, fighting the likes of Semmy Schilt, Gary Goodridge and Ray Sefo. He used his kickboxing foundation and durability to eventually become one of the top title contenders in the UFC's heavyweight division.
While some may wonder what Hunt would have accomplished had he joined the UFC earlier in his fighting career, he made the most of his opportunities inside the Octagon. But after his relationship with the UFC brass broke down, he was pushed aside by some of the promotion's bigwigs.
Fight fans will always remember Hunt's toughness and one-punch knockout power that he displayed throughout his career. For Rogan, who has been with the UFC during the rollercoaster ride to worldwide fame, Hunt tops the iron chin list in the promotion's history.
