Joe Rogan pushes Jiri Prochazka after Alex Pereira 'Black Magic' comments

After his UFC 311 victory, Prochazka responded roughly to the commentary team after he was criticized by Daniel Cormier and Joe Rogan for his striking defense, even though he had worked on it prior to the fight.

However, Rogan recently spent Prochazka back after he appeared on his podcast, the Joe Rogan experience.

Before Prochazka removed Pereira on UFC 303 on UFC 303 last year, Prochazka claimed that Pereira uses 'Black Magic' and 'Voodoo' to help him win fighting and it played a major role in their pre-Fight structure.

While on Rogan's podcast, the UFC icon pressed on the former champion on his claim and asked him to explain what he means by that.

“I don't want to talk about that completely because it is something I am humble for,” Prochakza told Rogan.

“I can't say that it is because everyone has their own way and nobody, even me, is willing to say something for someone (to take it seriously). I get lost in it (question). So the thing is, I will not talk about where the magic is, how to use the magic.

“That (black magic) was the greatest strength for my opponent because I was focused for him, not for me,” he went on.

The 32-year-old openly admitted that, prior to his rematch against 'Patan', he was too focused on accusing Pereira of the use of 'spiritual things' instead of the fight itself.

Joe Rogan admits that Prochazka has evolved since his last fight

Although he had initially been critical of part of the defensive work of Procazka at UFC 311, Rogan admitted in his Sitdown interview with the former champion that he has certainly evolved since his last fight.

“You said you had to evolve (after losing Pereira) … One thing I saw in this last fight was evolution … The counters, the head movement and the counters were brilliant … I had something like:” That is another Jiri Prochazka '.

“You will definitely get better, which is fascinating, you had a very brilliant approach, you waited for you to reach a certain level before entering the UFC,” Rogan continued.

PrOCHAZKA will hope that he has evolved enough to earn another shot on the light heavyweight title and he will closely monitor the main event between UFC 313 between Pereira and Magomed Ankalaev.
