Joe Rogan reveals how ‘maniac’ Dana White plays key role in his UFC future as he misses first US show in years

Joe Rogan has confirmed the long-term report that his UFC contract contains a clause with which he will immediately leave with Dana White.

The duo has been good friends for decades since Rogan first agreed to comment at UFC events after White had taken over the promotion with the Brothers of Fertitta. Even in the first instance, the comedian rejected the progress of White before he finally took the job.

Now Rogan is forever contractually contractually connected to the UFC boss, who has included something of a lighter role in the UFC itself in recent years. He is still the face and CEO of the company, but he focuses a lot of his time on other efforts such as Power Slap and Tko's new boxing equipment.

Joe Rogan confirms legendary 'Dana White clause' in his UFC contract

It has long been discussed by Joe Rogan and others, that if for some reason Dana White would ever leave the UFC that the commentator would follow immediately. And during a recent appearance on the ultimate human podcast by Gary Brecka, Rogan confirmed the same amount to be true.

“There are rumors that you and Dana have been so loyal to each other that your contract in the UFC says that if you both go,” asked Brecka, to which Rogan answered: “That is mine, yes. If they get rid of him, I will be gone.

“He is a great guy, I love him to death, he is just a great guy and the perfect guy to be in the head of such a chaotic sport. The sport is so strange that you need a maniac to rudder … He doesn't give up -he really doesn't.

“He really has 'f – you' money and I have always said that if you have 'f – you' money and not 'f – you', you already waste that 'f – you' money. The only reason to have it is to be able to do what you actually want and the man loves fighting.”

Joe Rogan once rejected Dana White's offer to become a member of UFC

However, it was not always the case. While Rogan was considerably more than an informal fan of the sport, he just wanted to attend the events as a famous guest and watch with his friends, and the offer of White to comment.

“Dana and I became friends because he would invite celebrities to come,” Rogan continued. “And this is when I organized anxiety factor … he and I would come together and I would go:” What about this fight? Do you know about this guy? ” I mentioned all these different hunters.

“He is going:” Would you comment? “And I'm going,” I don't want to work man, I just want to come and watch fights, “I had done it before and it didn't get any money in my pocket.
