Joe Rogan reveals why Fedor Emelianenko never fought in the UFC

Fedor Emeliansko will forever be one of the greatest hunters who has never fought in the UFC, and Joe Rogan has revealed exactly why it never flourished.

The 47-Vecht veteran, Fedor Emelianenko, is generally considered the largest heavyweight Jager of all time, who has participated for various promotions.

Although 'The Last Emperor' withdrew from MMA in 2023 after a failed Bellator Heavyweight Title Challenge against Ryan Bader, Conor McGregor teased his signature for BKFC.

Although Fedor is generally considered one of the greatest hunters of all time, he is one of the few in that category that never participated in the UFC.

Joe Rogan about why Fedor never fought in the UFC

Over the years there have been many rumors why the Russian never fought under the UFC banner, in which he previously stated that one of the reasons is because he felt that Dana White hated him.

UFC commentator Joe Rogan, however, has revealed the reason why Fedor never signed with the promotion, despite years of conversations.

“So, Fedor was checked by some Russian people, who were, as it were, very rough men, by gangster type characters,” he started explaining in an episode of his podcast.

“They had a number of negotiations with the UFC, but they were very unreasonable demands. They wanted part of the promotion, they wanted to possess a piece of everything, they wanted a lot.

“Because they knew that they had the golden ticket with Fedor, and they wanted to play it as much as possible. The negotiations were very intense and very confronting, they became bad (to the point that) Dana had to improve his safety, it became heavy.

“These were dangerous people … It was going crazy,” Rogan continued.

Fedor Emeliansko begged to make his comeback to fight

The 48-year-old is closed to return to the combat sports by UFC legend Andrei Arlovski.

The former UFC champion recently participated in a new combat sport promotion, Dirty Boxing Championship, co-ownership of Jon Jones.

Because there have already been conversations that he can sign at BKFC, Fedor's Comeback seems to be on hands, which worries the majority of the fan base, given that he is 48 years old.
