Topuria and 'Do Bronx' Oliveira Quarrel have been having online for several months now, because it became clear that if Makhachev moved to £ 170, that the matchup would be made.

And while conversations about a potential fight between Topuria and the former lightweight champion took place, the Spaniard was warned about the danger of the Brazilian by UFC legend, Joe Rogan.

“I love Topuria vs Oliveira. Oliveira is so long and so dangerous everywhere (although) (he would have a) huge advantage. Those (light weights) are really big, huge,” Rogan continued.

Charles Oliveira wants to bring the belt back to Brazil

Fans have called to get 'Do Bronx' a title shot since he lost the belt to Makhakev in 2022.

Since then, however, he has only picked up two wins at Beneil Dariush and Michael Chandler and lost at that time against Arman Tsarukyan.

Tsarukyan might be able to get rid of it by missing the title, but he was told by Dana White that he would have to come back to his way after he had withdrawn from his title fight against Makhachev just a day of UFC 311.

When responding to the news that he would fight against 'El Matador' for the empty title, Oliveira begged that he would bring the belt back to 'where it should never have left'.
