John McGinn has insisted that Marcus Rashford will have teammates who transplant for him 'in a clear excavation at Manchester United.
Rashford, 27, enjoyed a strong start of life at Aston Villa, who has joined on loan – with an option to buy – from United in the January transfer window.
Since he made the switch to Villa Park, the attacker has earned a recall from England for their upcoming world cup qualifications in the midst of his change in form.
Now Rashford's new teammate McGinn has spoken about Rashford's new lease of life and insisted that the attacker has 'teammates who grafted for him'.
In conversation with De Spiegel, he said: 'Marcus and Marco showed a glimpse of a glimpse that have proven that they are at the highest level.
“They may have lost their way for certain reasons, but what they will both get from us, his love and support and teammates who will transplant for them.”
“We want them to be happy again. And every day you see them, they have a smile on their face. That is when you know that football players are happy and at their best.
'In that match against Club Brugge, Marcus played his best match in that second half and he was a constant threat.
“If we can get those two shooting, they are a few that every club would take in the country.”
Rashford has made nine performances in all competitions for his new club and although he still has to score, the attacker has made a valuable contribution, including four assists.
He has shown signs of a revival under Unai Emery and reacts impressively on the team of Man United in the last weeks of his time in his boy's club.
Rashford has been rewarded by being one of the headline inclusions in the first English team of Thomas Tuchel.
He responded with a message from eight words on social media to confirmation of his call-up. “Never stop believing,” wrote Rashford. “I can't wait to get started.”
The call-up represents an English lifeline for Rashford, which has not played for his country since last year. Rashford had missed the European championships last summer.
Tuchel, who explained his team announcement, claimed that the time was ripe for Rashford to return to the three lion arrangement.
“I felt that Marcus had a huge impact in Aston Villa,” said Tuchel. 'He mainly made a huge impact of the bank and the impact was impressive.
'The physical impact was impressive and especially the impact on the ball – his working speed, his defensive impact, his hard work in back pressure, his tracking in his position was impressive.
“I had the strong feeling that we have to nominate him, bring him in to push him to stay at that level and not fall back in old routines.
“This camp is to connect with him and push him to stay at that level.”
