John Terry sustained an injury halfway through the London Marathon and was noticed.
The Chelsea legend started strongly next to his Bluespal Jody Morris.
But he suffered an injury and his pace deteriorated soon after half the point.
Terry, 44, was noticed by TV cameras at one point and it took him 55 minutes to go from the 35k point to 40K.
To make matters worse, the former captain of England seemed to bleed from one of his nipples.
Fortunately, Morris decided to wait until his friend tried to encourage him for a while before he left Terry to take care of himself.
Fans cheered Terry's effort and his dedication to reach the finish line despite his injury.
They responded and said: “Jody Morris waited diligently for John Terry who seemed to be lying and had quite the time 😭”
Another added: “Au !!! think John Terry has a bloody nipple … 👏👏 but respect.”
A third wrote: “Turn on the marathon to look Jodie Morris and John Terry for a Lil Jog 😅 Legends 💙@chelseafc”
