Marc Diakiese tells Jon Jones to 'walk away' instead of fighting Tom Aspinall
For many, Jon Jones has to beat Tom Aspinall to strengthen his status as one of the greatest mixed martial artists in the history of UFC.
Mark Diakiese, however, thinks that the legend has done more than enough to leave a fantastic legacy, and should not run the risk of losing.
In an interview with The Daily Mirror, he explained: “For me, what Jon Jones has achieved and what he did, I think he just has to walk away. Tom Aspinall is young and fresh; He is hungry. Jon Jones did it all. He does not have to be confronted with boys who are young and hungry at that level.
“He did everything … He fought against all the top boys that you might think about, such as Rampage Jackson, Lyoto Machida, all the top boys. He fought them against them, so he doesn't have to prove anything; he can just retire He has the heavyweight… Leave him and I would make sure I got a lot of money.
