Jon Jones announces history-making title fight to take place as he continues to plot UFC comeback

Jon Jones has set up his promoter hat because he has announced a history of history in dirty boxing championships.

A few weeks ago it was announced by UFC boss Dana White that the then UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones had officially retired from sport.

Nevertheless, only a few weeks later after it was announced by Donald Trump that the UFC would set up an event in the White House, Jones announced that he has already returned to the test pool.

White then started that his Dream Main event for the event would be a title fight between Jonies and Tom Aspinall, hoping to finally give the fans what they have been waiting for.

Jones announces the title fight of history in Dirty Boxing Championship

While 'Bones' continues to plot a potential comeback to the UFC, he has set up his promoter hat and announced that a title fight for history will take place in his promotion Dirty Boxing Championship.

So far, the promotion has only officially held three events, but it has been extremely well received by the MMA fan base because of some of the names involved, including Yoel Romero.

Nevertheless, the 37-year-old has announced that former UFC heavyweight competitor Jairzinho rose bush will fight against Rob Perez in the first title fight in the history of the promotion.

“History is made at dirty boxing and I can't be more proud. On August 29, Dirty Boxing 3 takes over the hangar in Miami, and we will bring you the very first heavyweight title fight in Dirty Boxing History,” Jones began his explanation.

“De Wolf (3-0 DBX)-first, aggressive and ruthless stepping in to face Jairzinho rose bush in a confrontation that promises nothing but pure violence.

“As one of the owners of Dirty Boxing, this is exactly the kind of fight I had in mind when I came to this competition – raw, real and unforgettable,” he continued.

Jones continues to turn off his comeback to the UFC

Although his retirement was short -lived, Jones has not participated in the UFC and his fans somewhat used to the fact that he has not been active.

Nevertheless, it is very likely that 'Bones' will make his comeback at the White House event on July 4, 2026, and who he is fighting depends on who has the heavyweight title at that time.
