Jon Jones answers speculation he could still return to UFC for non-White House event after Dana White’s snub

Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Jones was asked for a potential 'Plan B' on his planned Octagon -Comeback.

Jon Jones shocked the MMA world when he abruptly announced his retirement by fighting the UFC last month after a long negotiating period. After his retirement, Jones was stripped of his undisputed heavyweight title and Tom Aspinall was promoted to undisputed heavyweight champion.

Only a few days after his pension announcement, Jones announced his planned comeback in 2026 after the news of US President Donald Trump that the UFC will organize an event at the Witte House Lawn. But Jones's comeback plan took a big hit on Saturday evening, while UFC CEO Dana White ran away to make Jones the intended headliner for the map.

Jones expressed 'disappointment' in his response to White's comments on social media. With a potential white house that was uncertain, Jones can still return to the cage in 2026 for the right occasion.

Jon Jones clarifies UFC -Berugne after Dana White has closed the Headliner of the White House

In a recent message to X, Jones hit back to a fan who claimed that White 'Can't Trust' can 'be' to head a UFC-PAY-PERVIVIVER after his recent violations.

“That is actually not what he said, he said he cannot afford that something is going wrong. What is understandable, it is difficult to commit to athletes literally another year,” Jones said.

“Let's not play twist words, my entire career has been a main event.”

Jones was then pressed about whether he would still return to the Octagon for an alternative event after the recent comments from White about headlining in the White House.

“I don't think so, but at the moment it's hard to say. I'm just going to concentrate on staying focused, getting in the best form and all the things I have already grabbed on the table,” Jones said.

Jones recently declared his intentions to see the current UFC -heavyweight title holder when he returns to the cage in 2026. Aspinall is expected to make his first undisputed defending defense later this year, possibly against a favorite with fans.

Jones said that the planned card of the UFC gave him a new motivation to train and to come in Vecht form after his victory over Stipe Miocic at UFC 309. After the recent comments from White, the planned comeback of Jones remains a mystery.

One of those hunters was Jones, who congratulated Poirier on his retirement and thanked him for the 'years of entertainment'. Poirier heard from former rivals and teammates on social media in the hours after UFC 318.

Jones's comments made the spot of some on x, with one fan who called Poirier's pension 'better' than his. Jones seemed to cherish in the fan hatred in response.
