UFC heavyweight title holder Jon Jones may have unintentionally leaked his future fighting plans.
The wait is for the UFC buyer to book the heavyweight collision that fans, experts and fellow hunters have called for almost two full years.
As the summer quickly approaches, Jon Jones and Tom Aspinall do not appear close to a booking for a heavyweight Unification Bout. After Jones had defended his heavyweight title on UFC 309, he focused his attention on contract interviews with Dana White and the matchmakers to possibly have the Aspinall match match.
UFC fans are becoming increasingly frustrated with the constant interruption of Jones of the competition, with some who accuse him of 'holding the belt hostage'. Recommends that Jones from his UFC championship belt is stripped, has grown in recent weeks.

Jon Jones drops a big hint on UFC Future after mocking Tom Aspinall during the recent seminar
Aspinall was recently opened about the mental toll who took on the constant waiting for Jones, and admitted that this current period was more difficult to navigate than his earlier recovery of leg surgery in 2022.
In the midst of the ongoing Aspinall fighting interviews, Jones has been abroad for a while, and he had to come with Nate Diaz in Thailand on a spider -off from the Ultimate Fighter Reality TV series. But Diaz's abrupt departure of the show ended the filming after a wild fight on the set.
In the meantime, Jones organized earlier this week as the 'largest seminar in Bangtao History' in Bangtao Muay Thai MMA Gym in Thailand. The gym and Jones shared some images on an Instagram post of the heavyweight champion who worked with Fight Fanatics, young and old, looking for MMA knowledge.
After an Instagram follower Sarcastic asked Jones when fans could expect his 'famous Eyepoke' again, the UFC Great needed two words to share clarity about his Fighting Future.
Jones's answer does not make Vecht fans happy.
“Next year,” Jones replied.
If Jones's remark points to a return time from 2026 to the Octagon, it places the UFC heavyweight division in a bizarre position with Aspinall as an interim title holder of the division. If Jones leaves his heavyweight title, Aspinall would fight for the undisputed belt against another top candidate, which makes Jones fight against the winner on his return.
Aspinall is the longest governing interim title holder of the UFC, which comes from the elimination of Sergei Pavlovich on UFC 295. He defended the interim belt on UFC 304 last July and ended Curtis Blaydes within one round.
With Jones on the sidelines for an indefinite period, a matchup between Aspinall and another top heavyweight such as Ciryl Gane or Alexander Volkov could be the fight to make. Volkov has expressed his dissatisfaction with the handling of the UFC of the absence of Jones in recent days and accused the heavyweight champion of getting 'privilege' during his holdout.
Petition for the UFC to strip Jon Jones from his belt continues to shoot in signatures
A petition in which the UFC was called to strip Jones from his heavyweight title, organized via Change.org, went viral earlier this week. From the time of this letter, the petition has collected more than 150,000 signatures and led to a counter -measure of a group of loyal supporters of Jones.
Jones and Aspinall went back and forth in a recent social media exchange in the midst of Jones in Thailand. After Jones Aspinall had mocked his growing British fan base, Aspinall doubled his 'Ducking' consumes and wished a lot of pleasant retirement all the time.
At the moment, White and the UFC matchmakers have not given a specific timeline for the next heavyweight title fight. White recently told fans to 'relax' when they pressed over the state of the Jones vs. Aspinall Showdown.
