Jon Jones fires subtle jab at Daniel Cormier to stoke flames of decade-long rivalry

Jon Jones continued to hit his old rival Daniel Cormier after the analyst criticized him for the return of the drug test pool prior to a UFC referee.

Former two -weight world champion Jones surprised fans when he decided to leave the sport last month and allow Tom Aspinall to take his heavyweight title. But only a few weeks later, after learning a UFC event in the White House, he decided to return and is even back in the drug test pool.

Jones even stated that he doesn't care who his opponent is, as long as he can fight at the groundbreaking event. But Cormier is not so certain and believes that he would not have to string fans together with teasing a fight.

Daniel Cormier criticized Jon Jones for re -introducing test pool

The concern that Cormier seems to have with Jones who returns to the UFC drug test pool that he can end up as Conor McGregor. The Irishman teased fans with a comeback for four years and even had them buy tickets for a doomed fight last summer before they withdrew.

“In most cases, Jon Jones and I don't see an eye to eye and boy, he has been great here for my YouTube in the last few months,” Cormier joked during an episode of his ESPN Show Good Guy/Bad Guy with Chael Sonnen.

“He flopped everywhere has been great for my YouTube. But please do not become what Conor has become in the media. Every time a big story breaks, Conor's is like: 'I am back' or 'I do this'. Don't do that. Don't try to make it away if you walk away from this.

'Conor did not run away voluntarily. Conor was injured and he left. He just didn't come back. Jones said voluntarily “I'm ready. 'So now that he is ready, don't try to make these stories about you when you are a man who is supposed to have run away from the game. “
