One of the former enemies of Jon Jones fears that he will be as Conor McGregor.
The legendary Two-Division UFC champion kissed his heavyweight belt farewell when he retired last month at MMA. With Jon Jones no longer on the throne, interim title holder Tom Aspinall is the new undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.
After two weeks of 'diving' accusations, the retired Jones recently announced that he had again introduced the drug test pool that he would have to compete again. Jones also showed interest in fighting in the White House after President Donald Trump had presented a UFC event there.
Just like the superstar McGregor, which has been inactive since 2021, Jones continues to get the headlines by teasing a UFC recovery.

Daniel Cormier van Jon Jones: 'Please do not become what Conor McGregor has'
Not many hunters know more about Jones than Daniel Cormier.
In 2017, Jones called the legendary rival Cormier his' greatest rival and motivator 'after he had defeated him a second time on UFC 214. Jones' TKO victory was later destroyed into a no-contest due to a positive steroid drug test for Jones.
Cormier says he has made tons of advertisements to talk about Jones, and claims that his former enemy reminds him of McGregor – and not in a good way.
“In most cases, Jon Jones and I don't see an eye to eye,” Cormier said about a good guy / bad guy.
“And, boy, he has been great here in recent months for my YouTube. He flopped everywhere over the whole place was great for my YouTube.
“Please don't become what Conor has become in the media,” said Cormier about Jones.
“Every time a big story breaks, Conor is so, I am back, or I do this …
“Don't do that. Try not to make it about you when you voluntarily walked away from this. Conor did not run away voluntarily. Conor was injured and he left. He just didn't come back.
“Jones voluntarily said I am ready. So now that he is ready, don't try to make these stories about you when you are a man who is supposed to have run away from the game,” Cormier added.
Conor McGregor did not fight in 1,458 days
Conor McGregor, although not formally retired, has been inactive for the past four years.
McGregor broke his leg against Dustin Poirier in his last UFC fight on July 10, 2021. It was a long way to recovery for McGregor, but as soon as he recovered, McGregor's first priority was not, it was acting.
The Irishman made his acting debut in 'Road House', starring next to A-Lister Jake Gyllenhaal in the Reboot 2024.
McGregor was initially planned for Michael Chandler in the main event of UFC 303 last summer; However, a broken toe injury would take 'the infamous' out of the fight.
McGregor is currently involved with BKFC and politics, but the superstar has shown interest in a UFC recovery in the White House.
