Chael Sonnen says that Jon Jones likes to be a victim

On November 16, 2024, Stipe Miocic went against each other with Jon Jones for the UFC Heavyweight Championship.

In the run -up to the match, the former king of the division, known as one of the nicest men in the sport, was made perplexed by something that his opponent came out.

Bizarre enough, Jones burned an innocent remark made by Miocic, 'offensive', and then sent him a hard warning.

In the end it was 'Bones' who won the fight and retired his rival.

In the aftermath, Miocic predicted that Francis Ngannou would have too much for the man who had just defeated him.

However, Chael Sonnen believes that the former Golden Gloves box champion only said that 'The Predator' would win because of how the title holder of two division treated him.

In a video that was uploaded to his YouTube channel, said 'The American Gangster': “Between Jonies and Francis Ngannou went with Francis, he said Francis would have won. Do you believe that he really believed? Jon Jones became very nasty to dot.

“If you don't know that it is the process that Jon is going through, you could hurt your feelings. And I give Jon a full pass.

“Beating Jon almost takes a strange ingredient: a last-minute fight, a change of opponent.

“Jon's trust grows over time. But Jon is also a victim; he just likes that.” The side I am right is righteous, “making his opponent a very bad guy.

“I don't think Stipe ever let such a person come up with him. What Jon accused him of, as a way to get into the right state of mind, I think it insulted him.

“Because of that attack, it was damaging the decision for Stipe to say that Francis hits him.”

Jon Jones will break a heavyweight record from Cain Velasquez if Tom Aspinall Fight is delayed by six months

The run of Jones in his new division is so far disappointing. Although many wanted him to fight against Ngannou for the empty title, he took on Ciryl Gane.

And when most of him begged to defend the belt against Tom Aspinall, he ended up in the cage with Miocic.

But regardless of whether people like it or not, the 37-year-old is about to write history.

In just six months, Jones will break a record of Cain Velasquez.
