Jon Jones’ manager confirms bombshell announcement that could lead to his UFC return shortly following retirement

Jon Jones recently revealed a shocking U-bend on his UFC pension.

Some of the biggest stars of the sport have shown all their interest in the UFC event that will be held in the White House after an announcement by President Donald Trump.

Conor McGregor spoke about having his UFC return on July 4, 2026, but 'The Notorious' is not the only one who wants.

Fans immediately wondered if we can finally see Jon Jones vs Tom Aspinall take place on this date because of the enormous size of the event.

After posting about fighting in the White House, 'Bones' offered a shocking update only two weeks after announcing his retirement of the sport.

Jon Jones's manager shares his message about re -entering the UFC test pool for a potential return

Jon Jones' pension can eventually become short-lived after he has unveiled a major career update via social media.

In a post on X, Jones claimed that he re -introduced the UFC test pool, so that he could go back in the Octagon in the near future.

Although 'Bones' did not officially state that he will make his return, the former UFC wrote heavyweight and light heavyweight champion that keeps his options open.

I just re -introduced the test pool, which lasted about two weeks. Thought we would keep everyone's options open.

Jones' retirement was initially confirmed by Dana White during the press conference after the fight on UFC Baku before the greatest consensus of all time shared his thoughts about the end of his career.

His decision to re -enter the test pool has apparently been confirmed by his old manager at First Round Management.

Malki Kawa posted Jones's statement on Instagram and wrote in addition to a grinning emoji, “Happy Fourth”.

Jones shared Kawa's message about his own Instagram story, which was accompanied by the Dunne Lizzy number, 'The Boys Are Back in Town'.

Jon Jones removed a post that disputed Dana White's claim about his fight with Tom Aspinall

After the official pension of Jon Jones, Tom Aspinall was promoted to the undisputed UFC Heavyweight Champion.

UFC CEO Dana White stated that a fight between Jones and Aspinall was ready until 'Bones' changed ideas.

In a post that was quickly removed from his X account, the former champion disputed these claims and stated that although there were negotiations, “it had never been done”.

Jones vs Aspinall is clearly the fight that the fans still want to see, even after everything that has happened in recent months, although Jones has not referred any reference to the Brit in his recent update.
