Jon Jones recalls his biggest bust-up with Dana White: ‘He just didn’t see the logic’

Jon Jones and Dana White stopped heads during their 16-year-old working relationship.

The two-weight UFC champion has ever established itself as the best hunter ever over the years.

At that time, however, Jon Jones was also stripped of his title three times by the UFC -CEO.

'Bones' has been a general headache for Dana White, who has been by his side due to drugbans and a litany of personal problems – but he was really furious with something that Jones did in September 2012.

Jon Jones reveals the biggest Dana White Bust-Up

UFC 151 was historically for all the wrong reasons because it was the first event that Dana White had to cancel.

Jon Jones was supposed to defend his light heavyweight title against Dan Henderson in the main event.

A notice period of eight days announced that Henderson had fallen off the map with an MCL injury.

Chael Sonnen was ready to step in, but Jones and his team refused to take a short-notice fight.

As a result, UFC 151 was canceled and became White Boer than ever at the MMA Megastar.

“UFC 151, I refuse to fight Chael Sonnen,” Jones said when he was asked about his greatest bust with White.

“Man, he just didn't see the logic.

“If you are not the one who creates art, then it is easy to say what it is like to create art.

“I respect the process and I have to show respect in the way I do things.

“Yes, that P -, however, finished it.”

Jon Jones offers a pension update

In the same interview, Jon Jones gave an update about his fighting future in the midst of retirement rumors.

The 37-year-old admitted that a fight with Tom Aspinall is not interested in him, while trying a potential collision with Francis Ngannou.

Eventually he shunned away from using the word pension, but suggested that he took a break from MMA.

“At the moment I really can't care about fighting,” Jones said.

“I have done it at a very high level all my life.

“When the itch comes back, and when it comes back, I do it with my whole heart and to my best skills.”
