Jon Jones storms out of interview after ‘wild’ question about Tom Aspinall

It seems that Jon Jones is tired of tackling Tom Aspinall's situation.

The UFC Heavyweight Division remains in a period of uncertainty, because the two champions are not closer to book their logical unification fight.

An injury to Jones made the way free for Aspinall to eliminate Sergei Pavlovich and to become an interim champion, apparently putting his dream fight against the leading goat candidate.

However, Jones does not share the same enthusiasm.

'Bones' has rejected phone calls to fight the Brit, instead a hint at retirement. Fan Fury about that attitude left almost 200,000 to sign a viral petition in which the UFC is called to strip Jones.

Although he claims to be relaxed and not being relaxed by the growing dissatisfaction, the mention of him that fights against Aspinall certainly annoys Jones during a recent interview.

Jon Jones cuts the interview shortly after being asked about Tom Aspinall

The latest comments about the future of Jones came during a appearance on the full shipping podcast while he was in Miami for the dirty boxing event last Saturday.

After earlier discussing Aspinall and tackling whether or not he intends to compete again, the subject rose again.

“What is needed to fight Tom Aspinall? Like, from the UFC? What should the UFC do?” Jones was asked.

The revival of that subject clearly disturbed the heavyweight champion, who ended the interview after what he called a “wanted” question.

“You say something very wild and of the cuff. I'll see you later,” Jones said.

Jon Jones insists that Dana White can make the Francis Ngannou Super Fight

Although Jones remained negative with his view of fighting Aspinall, the same cannot be said when it comes to Francis Ngannou.

After recently shown interest in that super fight in the midst of talking about 'the predator', perhaps recurring to the UFC, Jones insisted that White could make the Ngannou fight.

“I think Dana will get things done,” Jones said when he was asked to Ngannou during the same interview. “I think things speak before emotions.

“If Francis presents himself in a modest way, I think he could easily be back in the UFC.

“Absolutely,” Jones added when he was asked if he thinks Ngannou will return to the Octagon. “For a reason, Dana White is one of the best sport spirits in recent history. Calls money. Francis brings eyes, and I am sure that Dana will be interested.

“Time changes things, and time heals everything. There were moments in my career where I thought Dana absolutely hated me. Now I feel that he is a great lawer for me.”

For example, the PFL has made it clear that they are willing to promote the super fight. But the chances of white and his promotion share that sentiment seem incredibly slim.
