Jon Jones chases a UFC record set by Cain Velasquez, if he can prevent Tom Aspinall from fighting in the coming six months.
Although the Combat Sports Community is desperate to see the best two heavyweights in the world's most important mixed Martial Arts Organization Go-to-Teen, it does not seem as if the match-up will take place soon.
With negotiations that lasts a long time, Aspinall has admitted that he is bored that he is even talking about Jones.
But the longer the American waits to sign the contract, the closer he gets to write history.

Jon Jones could ever become the longest reigning UFC Heavyweight Champion
Cain Velasquez can currently claim to have had the longest stint at the top of the heavyweight mountain, where the legend rules the beating for no less than 896 days.
During this time he blinded fans with his formidable wrestling skills and wild working speed.
However, his record is at the point of being broken. Jon Jones held the heavyweight crown for 746 days, which means that if he does not fight Tom Aspinall for the next six months, there is no reason why he would not catch up with the Mexican.
This would irritate some fans, because the polarizing character won the belt against Ciryl Gane, who had just lost to Francis Ngannou, who was the man of the man who enthusiasts really wanted Jones to fight for the belt.
He then defended the belt against a past his Prime, Stipe Miocic, when most of them wanted to accept Aspinall.
But regardless of whether people like it or not, he unmistakably closes.
Tom Aspinall rolls with the world's strongest man
While Aspinall gets tired of waiting for Jones, he still works hard in the gym to sharpen his profession.
He recently worked some work with the strongest man of 3x World, Tom Stoltman.
The MMA star presented his coaching bravery and taught the powerhouse the ropes.
Towards the end, Stoltman Aspinall gave a very difficult time on the floor.
