Ajax -Midfender Jordan Henderson will become a member of a new club this summer after he has decided that he will not use an option to extend his contract in Amsterdam, it originated.
The former captain of Liverpool, 35, moved to the Dutch Giants in January 2024 after a fateful six-month spell in the Saudi Pro League with Al-Etifaq. However, speculation that he would be moving again was in the transfer window of 2025 January, although Henderson himself tried to shoot such a conversation.
Reports earlier this summer indicated that Henderson was interesting for his boys' club, Sunderland, after their promotion to the Premier League.

Reports in the Netherlands say that Henderson traveled to the Ajax training camp in Zeist to say goodbye to his teammates.
He had previously received leave from Ajax to attend the funeral of Diogo Jota after his former teammate of Liverpool was killed tragically last week in a car accident next to his brother.
Although Henderson's exit has almost been confirmed, it is currently unclear where he will play next season, although outlines that he has lovers in both England and Europe.
The Times reports that Henderson has made the decision to try to increase his chances of making the English team for next year's World Cup after he has been transferred a surprise reminder to the national team by Thomas Tuchel.

They add that Henderson will probably delay the announcement from his next step out of respect for Jota, whose funeral took place on Saturday in Gondomar, Portugal.
Henderson started his career at Sunderland before going to Liverpool in 2011. He won the Premier League and the Champions League during his time as red before Green lit a shock transfer to the Saudi Pro League in the summer of 2023.
During his 18 months at Ajax, Henderson made a total of 57 performances. He was strongly connected to a move to Monaco in January.
