In recent weeks, the Brazilian media have spoken about Flamengo's wish to sign the Jorginho of Arsenal.
The midfielder's contract is going in the summer and Mikel Arteta seems to have asked the Gunners to keep him. Last week O Dia reported that Arsenal is reluctant to offer him an extension and that the 33-year-old decided to join Flamengo.
Bolavip Brasil claims that the Arsenal player has received an offer from Qatar. They do not offer information about the club or the details of their proposal, and that does not matter because Jorginho has rejected it.
The report adds that he has no plans to sign a new contract with the Emirates and his intention is to become a free member of the Brazilian club in the summer.
At the moment, the South -American club are favorites to secure its services in the middle of this year.
Bolavip states that Flamengo sports director José Boto planned a trip in March to conclude the agreement with Jorginho.
Earlier this month, UOL reported that Jorginho Intermediary Dudu Baptista appointed to negotiate with Flamengo on his behalf.
Bolavip may have collected an update of the intermediary about the range of Qatar.
