Jose Aldo has doubled with his decision to retire from MMA.

The former two -time featherweight champion suggested that he had finished fighting at UFC 315.

Former two-time UFC champion Middleweight Israel Adesanya paid a tribute to Jose Aldo after his pension fight.

Max Holloway and Conor McGregor also shared some friendly words for their former opponent.

Nevertheless, Aldo wants to fully distance itself from fighting and competing for the coming years.

He added: “I have a different goal in life, a different path. Offer me a fight wherever it is, I don't want it.

“I don't see myself fighting, or training, or doing something. Of course I see myself training here to help my friends. I know how difficult that is, so if I can help in a way with the experience I have, I will help with all my heart.

“But to specifically put a GI or something to fight, never again.”
