Jose Mourinho took the face of rival manager Okan Buruk in the midst of wild scenes at the end of Fenerbahce's 2-1 Turkish Cup defeat against Rivals Galatasaray.
Mourinho seemed to squeeze Buruk's nose after the last whistle, where the Galatasaray boss fell on the field and kept his face in his hands.
Buruk lay on his back when the former Chelsea and Manchester United -Baas Mourinho were towed away from the remarkable flash point.
Mourinho had just seen his side crash from the quarterfinals of the Turkish cup after Victor Osimhen Galatasaray sent on his way to victory with a brace in the first half.
Sebastian Szymanski withdrew one for the hosts in the break, but Buruk's side saw the poorly hummed victory, which sent three players in a stop time.
Mert Hakan Yandas was fired for Fenerbahce, with Kerem Demirbay and Baris Alper Yilmaz who also saw red for the visitors.
Galatasaray later tweeted a photo of Buruk and Mourinho subtitled: “You don't have to attack, you have to digest!”. The Turkish club also placed a cartoon video, which mocked Mourinho, with the caption “Galatasaray makes you crazy”.
Mourinho's Fenerbahce are six points behind Galatasaray in the Super Lig with a competition in hand.
