Jose Mourinho sues Galatasaray for about £ 42,000 about “moral damage”, Fenerbahce has confirmed.
Galatasaray accused Mourinho of making “racist statements” after their scoreless draw on Monday and said they were planning to start criminal procedures.
In his comments after the game, Mourinho said that the Galatasaray bank “jumped as monkeys” and that the luminaire was better to be referred to by the Slovenian Slavko Vincic instead of Turkish officials after both clubs had asked for a foreign agreement.
Mourinho was banned for four games and was fined £ 35,000. Fenerbahce has confirmed to Sky Sports News that they have appealed the ban.
