Josh Emmett left controversial UFC star twitching on the floor after sickening one-shot knockout

Josh Emmett proved that he was one of the largest pound-for-pounds of the largest punchers in MMA at UFC 296.

The hard-handed featherweight veteran fought against Bryce Mitchell during the last UFC Pay-per-View show of 2023.

'Thug Nasty' is one of the most controversial stars of the UFC, which is known for crazy and often offensive, whistling.

They made him wildly unpopular with a large part of MMA fans. So of course there were many people who celebrated when Josh Emmett brutally hurt him with one shot.

Mitchell's decision to combat Emmett on a cancellation period of two weeks failed on UFC 296.

The submission specialist exerted pressure from the very first bell, but he was made to pay his aggression when Emmett exploded on his chin on his chin.

Mitchell ran into a right hand who left him unconscious on the UFC Octagon floor.

Fans in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas became wild after Emmett scored one of the scariest knockouts in the MMA history, and UFC commentators Joe Rogan and Daniel Cormier too.

Their hysterical reaction, however, quickly changed into concern when they noticed that Mitchell was pulling on the floor after the first Ko loss of his career – he was submitted earlier a year earlier by Ilia Topuria.

The UFC 296 commentators shivering while they saw Mitchell trying to try to come back.

Fortunately, he eventually regained his senses and went backstage on understandably unstable legs.

What is the next step for Josh Emmett and Bryce Mitchell?

For the first time since his fight with Mitchell, Emmett returns to the Octagon on Saturday evening.

The 40-year-old is set to fight against 15-0-1 Star Lerphy Murphy in the Main Event of UFC Vegas 105.

A week later Mitchell will travel to Miami for a fight with Jean Silva on UFC 314, who recently took a big hit like a scrap between fan favorite Knockout artists Geoff Neal and Carlos Prates was canceled.

A large slam victory on Kron Gracie had Mitchell bounced back from his famous loss to Emmett.

Now he will recover himself as a real competition by eliminating a hot UFC prospect.
