Joshua Zirkzee ‘in ROW with Ruben Amorim as Man Utd striker looks to force Juventus move’ after Newcastle humiliation

JOSHUA ZIRKZEE has reportedly had a row with Ruben Amorim while looking for an exit at Old Trafford.

The forward has struggled to adapt to the Premier League since signing for £34million in the summer.

Zirkzee was dragged off after just 33 minutes against Newcastle following heavy boos from his own supporters, with the striker reportedly bursting into tears.

Now reports in Italy claim that Zirkzee has fallen out with Amorim as he wants to secure a move away from the club.

Corriere dello Sport reports that he wants to leave on loan due to interest from Juventus.

They are managed by Thiago Motta, who Zirkzee played for at Bologna, so a deal could be on the cards.

Juventus chief Cristiano Giuntoli has opened the door to a transfer for the Dutchman, who is also attracting interest from Napoli.

Giuntoli said: “Zirkzee? It is not appropriate to name names, but we are keeping an eye on interesting opportunities and we will take steps to strengthen the defense.”

Amorim revealed he had spoken to Zirkzee after his early substitution and suggested he is going through a difficult moment.

He said: “Josh is a really good boy. We will support him and continue.

“It was very difficult for me to do that, but I spoke to Josh because it was important to get the message across. We needed Josh to get out there for the team.

“The player is suffering and I was there a few years ago. I felt that he and the team were suffering during the match and that we needed a new midfielder.

“It was hard for me to do that and I talked to Josh about that because it's important to get the message across.”
