Jude Bellingham pronounced on Instagram after Real Madrid crashed from the Champions League on Wednesday evening by Arsenal.
Despite the losing of the first stage of last week with 3-0 at the Emirates, Bellingham and his real teammates were sure that they will take off a 'Remontada' on their way to the return game last night, but they came well to destroy the shortage.
After missing a fine of the first half, Bukayo Saka Arsenal set forward on the night before Vinicius JR withdrew a goal after an error in William Saliba.
Real, however, rarely threatened in the draw, and Gabriel Martinelli sealed Arsenal's 2-1 Bernabeu victory in extra time to conclude a 5-1 total triumph for the gunners.
After having had a night's sleep to think about the disappointing result, Bellingham has now gone to social media to apologize from the fans of Real, but promised that his team will come back better than ever.
'Just do not meet the expectations of this club in one of the games. Sorry Madridistas, “Bellingham's message started.
'We understand how much these nights and this competition means to you. There are still opportunities to save this season, but it is only possible to stay together. Real Madrid is coming back! '
Bellingham had difficulty in having a positive impact on Wednesday competition and to reduce a frustrated figure for long periods.
His emotions threatened to spill a few times while he bumped with two of his teammates from England.
The 21-year-old midfielder was seen in the ear of Bukayo Saka to postpone him when Arsenal was fined.
The game of Bellingham seemed to work while Saka shoved his spot kick and it was pushed widely by Thibaut Courtois.
The Arsenal wing player, however, had the last smile because he found the net in the second half after holding on to Mikel Merino's through the ball.
Bellingham also entangled with Declan Rice through the touchline during a tense first half, where the English couple stands briefly towards each other.
Bellingham showed that he was not willing to go out without a fight, but he was eventually overshadowed by Rice who took the player of the Match Award for the second consecutive week.
Bellingham and Real will now focus their attention on La Liga and the Copa del Rey. They are currently four points behind Barcelona with seven games to play, while next weekend they also face their arch rivals in the Spanish cup final.
Real then gets the chance to earn more silverware in the summer when they compete in the newly expressed club World Cup.
They may not be led by Carlo Ancelotti to that tournament, however, after reports that the Italian coach could really leave after a disappointing Champions League campaign after the Copa del Rey -final later this month.
