Jude Bellingham breaks silence on training ground bust-up with Real Madrid team-mate just hours before Arsenal clash

Jude Bellingham broke his silence after a training base with Antonio Rudiger.

The two Real Madrid stars had to be separated during a tense session prior to the quarterfinals second stage of tomorrow against Arsenal.

Reports in Spain claim that a result tackle on the midfielder of England has fueled the incident through the German center-back.

But today Bellingham played the argument in his press conference after the game and says: “It's football, it's normal on the field that emotions are getting high.

“You communicate with teammates louder than you would communicate with your mother and dad.

“For every negative interaction you see, there are 20 positive interactions.

“That will be lost in the media, which is fine, as long as the team respects each other to have those honest conversations.”

Arsenal goes to the Santiago Bernabeu with a 3-0 lead after an incredible first stage in which Declan Rice scored two free kicks.

Bellingham insists that an improved Real Madrid will be shown this time and says: “There was not one aspect of our game in the first leg that was on the standard that we expect from ourselves.

“We know that we can play much better and that is what we want to show tomorrow. It is one thing to lose, but it is something else not to learn.

“I think there is an expectation from Real Madrid that when we come in these holes, we can come back.

“In England it is not so common, but it does happen. The club has done it so often, so the expectations are huge.”

And the boss of Bellingham, Carlo Ancelotti, believes that the Gunners are far from being in the semi -final, and adds: “We have the quality to convert this draw, along with the dedication, the experience and fans.

“The resources are there and now it's time to bring our best.

“We are doing very well mentally and we need good control over the game.

“The Santiago Bernabeu has magic and everyone knows it is a special atmosphere.

“Tomorrow we need a little bit of everything – quality and a complete performance, both physical and collective. Not one of these things can go wrong.

“The motivation is there, and now I want the player to be calm for the game. I am clear that we will give it all.”
