Both Jude and Jobe Bellingham play in the club World Cup for Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund respectively, but the two will not meet despite the fact that the club plays each other in the next round
Jude Bellingham has been robbed of the chance to play against brother Jobe in the Club World Cup after a FIFA ban. The two were expected to include it in the quarterfinals of the tournament, where Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund respectively beat Juventus and Monterrey in the last 16.
But Jowe – who signed earlier this summer for the Bundesliga Giants from Sunderland – will not play in that game that has collected a booking in the latest victory of the German side. With two warnings now to his name, he will now serve an automatic suspension.
Yellow cards are only swept away after the quarterfinals of the competition. And Jowe was clearly stripped at the prospect of missing the next game and therefore a reunion with his brother.
But Dortmund -Baas Niko Kovac believes that it is only a matter of time before the couple meets each other on the field. After the game, the Dortmund -Baas said: “I think we all saw that he [Jobe Bellingham] Was very disappointed. I think he didn't know exactly that the second yellow card is a suspension during the break. He was a bit surprised.
“Ok, he's young. His brother is also young, so I am convinced that they will face each other, perhaps next season in the Champions League and then the future. The future is for them.
“The World Cup club would be fun, but now it is not. Someone else has to play for him, but it's okay too.”
And although the couple cannot play against each other now, Jude has unveiled all his ambitions to become teammates with his brother on the international stage. He said: “Because we are of the same age and we have played together for so long – on the street and on tufts of grass – to play with my brother for England … That would be the biggest dream of my life.
“That would mean more than all the trophies, especially if we can do it on a consistent basis and play together in a big tournament, win things together. Nothing would even come there.”

So far, Jowe had made four performances for Dortmund at the club World Cup after his Blockbuster relocation from Sunderland. And he managed to score his first goal for the club in a 4-3 victory against Mamelodi Sundowns last month.
Jude has also been on the score sheet at the tournament and opposes the Mexican side Pachuca in the group phase.
