After 20 debilitating months because of pain, Jude Bellingham is finally ready to go under the knife. The 22-year-old Star Real Madrid and England will be operated on Wednesday in London to repair a disrupted left shoulder-a nagging injury that he first sustained in November 2023 during a Laarga match against Rayo Vallecano. It is expected that he will restore him for two to three months, so that he may miss up to 10 games: the first eight games of the LaLiga season and Madrid's opening Two Champions League matches.

Bellingham has been postponing the procedure for almost two years to remain available for both club and country. The packed schedule left little room for rest – Summer slapped, he helped England to the Euro Final in Leiden, and this year he played a key role in Madrid's Run to the semi -final of the Club World Cup.
Bellingham: “I just want to feel free again”
But now the waiting is over. “I planned this operation for after the club's World Cup,” said Bellingham after Madrid's victory over Pachuca, where he was called MVP. “I have waited a long time and I am starting to lose patience. The doctors and physios have been incredible and help me get through every game. But I just want to feel free again.”
The injury dates from November 5, 2023. Only a few minutes in a home game in the Bernabéu, Bellingham went to the ball to a teammate, landed awkwardly and disrupted his left shoulder. He missed a handful of matches for Madrid and England, but returned to action with a large protective bracket – and continued to play as if nothing had happened.
More than 100 games with an injury
Since then he played more than 100 games with a compromised shoulder: 86 for Real Madrid and 14 for the national team. Now he finally breaks to have it repaired to return to the business end of the season completely fit and pain-free.
