Jude Bellingham’s parents BANNED from Dortmund’s dressing room

Borussia Dortmund has held their dressing room protocols by banning all family members from the area after the reported incident on Saturday in which the father of Jowe Bellingham was involved.

With 3-1 in St Pauli in the 85th minute of their Bundesliga seasers opener, Dortmund wasted their advantage of drawing 3-3.

The tension around that result was reportedly only raised by the parents of Bellingham, Mark and Denise, who had been unhappy after they had seen their son replaced on his German top debut during the break and waited in the tunnel to confront the Dortmund-Hierarchy about it.

According to Sky Sports Germany, who also acts as his son's adviser, an emotional discussion with Dortmund sports director Sebastian Kehl.

The report claims that Bellingham Senior expressed his frustration about both the replacement and the general performance of the team.

Bild added that Mark Bellingham immediately made a meeting with manager Niko Kovac – and “made no secret of his opinion.”

Some Dortmund players would also have noticed how emotional he was, with his anger reportedly fed by both the early replacement of his son and the disappointing representation.

But talking about the situation on Sunday evening, Dortmund's director Lars Ricken played the nature of the chat that insisted that it was 'no problem', but confirmed that such an incident will not happen in the future with family members who have now been banned from that area.

'We have received Jowe Bellingham because over the years we have really built up a relationship of trust with the parents. Now the family flew in especially for their son's first Bundesliga match and wanted to meet Jobe after the game, “Ricken told Sky90 – the football debate.

'They stood in the hallway to the dressing room and had an emotional conversation with Sebastian, which is not a problem at all considering this relationship.

'In the future, however, we will ensure that players, coaches and civil servants have access to the dressing room, so that we no longer get into trouble by commenting on such news.

“But today everything is solved – no drama.”

Nineteen -year -old Bellingham, who came to Dortmund this summer in a £ 32 million move from Sunderland, started the collision in St Pauli on Saturday, but was withdrawn by Kovac after an ineffective first half.

Dortmund had looked at the check with a 3-1 lead, only admitted twice in the last four minutes and to leave Hamburg with a single point.

Kovac then admitted: “If you led 3-1, you can't play 3-3, not even against this very good ST Pauli team.”

Jobe, who is wearing the No 7 shirt, can already be seen at the FIFA Club World Cup since he had completed his large money switch and came from the bank in Dortmund's German Cup victory on Rot-Weiss Essen earlier this month.

But on Saturday his Bundesliga debut – one broken off after just 45 minutes.

The midfielder came to Dortmund in June after he had helped Sunderland to win promotion of the championship and sign a five -year -old deal.

His transfer costs, worth a first £ 27.8 million plus add-ons, set a new record for the Wearside Club.

Despite the family bond, Jowe insisted that he had not crossed to Germany to just follow in the footsteps of his older brother Jude.

Real Madrid star Jude previously spent three years at Dortmund before he completed his blockbuster switch to Spain in 2023.

Saturday's collision in Hamburg was only the sixth competitive outing of Jowe for Dortmund.
