Julio Cesar Chavez Jr once looked down and out, but it seems that he had his choice of two of the largest crossover stars in boxing for his ring -back.
The former WBC Middleweight Champion claims that he has chosen Jake Paul for his next fight for his YouTube box rival KSI for this comeback. Chavez fought for the last time at Paul's Undercard in July last year, where he defeated UFC veteran Uriah Hall through a controversial decision.
Now he returns to the Ring against Paul, who will be against Mike Tyson in California on 28 June in California. The couple will compete on Cruiserweight, far above where the Mexican had his world titles success more than ten years ago.

During the best part of the past six months, Jake Paul and his team had worked on a crossover-super fight with Canelo Alvarez at most valuable promotions. When it fell through, they started to go to an exhibition with Gervonta Davis, but his draw with Lamont Roach but pauses that idea.
In the meantime, KSI was planned to experience Dillon Danis in his misfits boxing yield last month in a fight that Julio Cesar Chavez JR was in the race to get. For some reason, however, the footballer Wayne Bridge was chosen before Danis came in and Chavez was not called.
In the end, the fight did not happen because KSI was too sick to compete, and he now seems to be concentrating on companies outside the ring.
“When the offer came to me and I came back to see my friends here, Jake is bigger,” Chavez told Esnews. 'People ask me' is it one of the fighting with a better payment day for you? “It's not, it's okay, but the thing is the chance to give him a beating this time.
“I am fighting him because I want to beat him and that is the most important thing for me … I love Mike Tyson and I am the first man fighting Jake after he has defeated Mike Tyson and I want to take revenge for Mike Tyson.”
KSI's promoter claims another reason not to fight against Julio Cesar Chavez JR
Chavez's version of events is different from what Mams Taylor, who owns Misfits boxing and performs it next to KSI. He claims that the fight was on the table and was almost ready, but that instead they chose to go only battles with big names.
“I had a lot of communication with those boys and with Chavez,” Taylor told The Misfits Boxing YouTube Channel. “He is a great guy and his team is great and I had actually set that fight, but I think KSI now really wants to move to fighting names that will just be mega mega rights.
“That is no lack of respect for Chavez Jr, he is a legend. A great really cool guy and I am sure Jake will probably fight him at some point … if he [KSI] If so much effort and sacrifice in something, it must have a fee.
“Not finally, that is tertiary or secondary. But before he who gets the fans really enthusiastic and motivated to be like” oh wow this is a huge fight “instead of the boxing purists and people who know who Chavez is.”
