Julio Cesar Chavez JR does not want to be reminded of these comments from 2021 if he loses Jake Paul.
Chavez Jr, a former WBC Middleweight Champion and son of the legendary Julio Cesar Chavez Sr, is the newest opponent in Paul's polarizing boxing career on 28 June.
After initially having shared the ring with colleague YouTubers and a sportsman in ex-NBA star Nate Robinson, since then the Problem Child has achieved largely victories against veterans of mixed martial arts and boxing at a low level.
Now, months after Paul's controversial victory over Mike Tyson in their Netflix Main Event, the resident of Cleveland will be confronted with a younger but similar boxing doctor for the past in Chavez Jr.
It is sufficient to say that the Mexican has long been sure to avoid the same fate as 'Iron Mike'.

At the end of 2021, after Paul Tyron Woodley had eliminated in their Rematch, Chavez Jr entertained the prospect of marking the first Pro Boxer -opposite of the former Disney star.
The Mexican wanted to redeem himself after a humiliating loss for Anderson Silva, who would beat Paul the following year.
Speaking with TV -boxeo about reports that he could stand in line to face 'the problem child', Chavez Jr expressed his willingness to share the ring with Paul and said he would retire if he suffered a defeat.
And more than just using his career, Chavez Jr said that he would even give up his bag if the inexperienced American hit him.
“I can only talk about myself, not about other people, I am not here to criticize someone,” said Chavez Jr.
“I talk by analyzing boxing. I hope I can get a few million with Jake Paul. If he beats me, I will retire, I will not be paid.
“I don't want any money if I didn't hit him,” said Chavez Jr. “Pension – not interested in his money if I don't win.”

If Chavez's father had his way, the 39-year-old would not still be close to fight Paul in 2025.
After seeing Silva -Outbox Chavez JR on the undercard of his exhibition file against Hector Camacho JR, Chavez Sr called on his son to retire.
“I prefer that they will retire if they will not prepare themselves correctly,” Chavez Sr said about his sons to box scene.
“They are not preparing in the best possible way to fight.”
