Former BMF champion Justin Gaethje understands the bet prior to his UFC 313 -Rematch with Rafael Fiziev.
Justin Gaethje will let his Octagon return almost a full year from his knockout loss to Max Holloway on UFC 300. After taking a long break after the buzzing knockout, Gaethje understands what is on the line on UFC 313 as the previous result is replited.
Gaethje lost the BMF -Riem van Holloway on UFC 300 in one of the legendary fights in the surrendered Martial Arts. Before the Holloway fight, he won the BMF belt by destructively finishing Dustin Poirier on UFC 291.
Just like Poirier, Gaethje wants to recover from the jaws of the defeat of his previous Octagon. The favorite of the UFC fan treated fans with some of the wildest collisions in combat sport history, with the Holloway match on top of most of the fan lists.

Justin Gaethje answers calls to retire after brutal ko loss to Max Holloway
During a recent interview with Kevin Iole, Gaethje recognized what he is at stake at UFC 313.
“I'm not going out like that. But when it happens again, I am sure it will be, “said Gaethje. “I think the human body is very resilient and it needs time. It took time, took six months without being hit, and I think we play the most violent sport in the world, but I don't think it's the most dangerous for that specific favor. We can take time between this traumatic brain injury …
“You can be harmful, but I feel pretty good now. So I think it is a crazy ride that we are doing, but the human body is resilient and I think the six months I left was very healthy for me and my recovery. “
Fortunately for Gaethje, he comes in his upcoming Rematch with short-notice opponent Rafael Fiziev with some room to be confident in his chances. Gaethje defeated Fiziev in their first collision at UFC 286 by a split decision and battles with a style that Historisch Fiziev has frustrated in the cage.
Justin Gaethje is confronted with a well-known enemy in the UFC 313 Co-Main event
But Gaethje will not enter UFC 313 with a safe approach. He plans to return to the aggressive form that saw him win over people like Poirier, Tony Ferguson and Michael Chandler.
Gaethje provides another potentially lightweight title shot before hanging the gloves. UFC Lightweight Champion Islam Makhachev is expected to return later this year, possibly against Ilia Topuria, but Gaethje -eyes that confirm themselves as the next man above Topuria.
Depending on the result of the UFC 313 Co-Main, Gaethje could possibly be on the last legs of his fighting career. But with his back against the wall, Gaethje is demonstrably at its best.
