According to a report from La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Roberto de Zerbi is one of the candidates that Juventus looks at when they choose to replace Thiago Motta as a head coach at the end of the season.
The old lady is fourth in Serie A and the results do not fully meet the high expectations that the club supporters demand. The club suffered a shock removal of the Coppa Italia during the week when they were eliminated by Empoli.
The Italian outlet writes that if Juventus cannot secure a Champions League position next season, it is probably thought that Motta will be dismissed from his current position. With this in mind, the club has one eye on the planning of the follow -up.
It is said that the Serie A -side looks at Antonio Conte, Gian Piero Gasperini and Igor Tudor. However, this season, the Zerbi is impressed by Olympique de Marseille and is supposed to have earned an admirer in Juventus, although Gazzetta writes that he is an “outsider” on the list of head coaches, because he has never been contacted by the club before.
