Juventus interested in PSG’s Marco Asensio

According to a report from Foot Mercato, Juventus are interested in Paris Saint-Germain's Marco Asensio (28) as they look to strengthen their attacking options in the upcoming transfer window.

Asensio has seen more consistent playing time this season and has been a useful option for the club following Gonçalo Ramos' injury at the start of the season. He was mainly used as a false nine during his time in the French capital, although he can play on either flank or as a number ten.

The French newspaper writes that Asensio's versatility is attractive to Juventus' head coach and former PSG player Thiago Motta. The Old Lady could move quickly in the early days of the new year to try to sign the Spain international on a loan with an option to buy.

Foot Mercato states that negotiations between the two clubs will mainly focus on Asensio's salary. The Spaniard reportedly grosses around €10 million a year. Les Parisiens will try to reach an agreement to have part of his wages paid by the Italian club.
